"Tell Him I Said Hello" is dedicated to Jan's late husband, "Lefty" Ken Howell, an accomplished guitarist, harmonica player, singer, and songwriter. It features a number of songs composed by Howell, along with variety of tracks that show off Jan's considerable vocal, dynamic and stylistic range.

Produced by Rickey Gulliver Godfrey, who also plays guitar and piano, the record features the members of the Jan Cronin Band: Mark W. Winchester, bass; Tom Pallardy, sax and piano; Chris Rosenstone, drums/percussion; Phil Ashworth, guitar; and Terri Calderon and Debie Robbins, backing vocals. Phil “Kornbred” Towne makes a special guest appearance. The disc was recorded and mixed by Michael St. Leon at The Switchboard in Nashville.
